Job Description Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an Administrative Assistant to contribute to our team in Jackson, TN just outside Nashville. This person provides administrative support for the Distribution Center. Prepares correspondence, reports, special projects, and related material as requested. Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm OT if needed
Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED 5 years of administrative experience at the executive level 6 months work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication skills Microsoft office/excel experience. Experience working on the Intranet Able to multitask
Key Responsibilities:
Provides confidential administrative support. Prepares correspondence, weekly and monthly reports, memos contracts, etc. Collects and prepares information for use in meetings with staff members and clients. Routes telephone calls, schedules meetings, schedules travel and lodging arrangements, maintains systematic files, greets guests upon arrival for meetings, orders supplies, and maintains expense reports Provides technical support to department including working with Facility Services (office moves, maintenance work, etc.) Telecom (working on office phones and cell phones), Human Resources and IT (set-up computers and service problems). Completes weekly and monthly reports which could include inventory, daily status, variances, efficiency, etc. Works directly with vendors to negotiate purchasing cost for various supplies. Plans, arranges, and purchases supplies for warehouse functions and celebrations which include the calculations for serving full-meals to large numbers of associates in a safe and orderly manner.
Hiring Salary Range:
$22.17/hr - $27.48/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
