Our platform enables dynamic, software-controlled fiber connectivity at unprecedented scale, replacing manual patching with intelligent, automated optical switching. Telescent's systems integrate high-density fiber arrays, precision robotics and electronics into mission-critical infrastructure deployed in demanding hyperscale data center environments. Based at our Austin, TX contract Manufacturing site. we are looking for a Production Planner to: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for production runs. Monitor and plan production labor capacity Analyze production data using Excel data analysis techniques to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Manage production planning activities across multiple departments, ensuring adherence to schedules while accommodating changes in demand or supply disruptions. Support plant management by providing accurate reporting on production performance metrics and supply chain analytics to facilitate strategic decision-making. Support the Engineering Department with material requirements Support the introduction of new products with material and labor planning and execution. Experience A minimum of 3 years experience in production management in a fast-paced growing manufacturing environment. Strong familiarity with MRP modules, and other production management systems. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets using Microsoft Excel for reporting and decision support. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques. Experience in supply chain management, supply chain analytics, and plant management is highly desirable.
