Production Planner

We are seeking an experienced aviation maintenance professional to join a highly respected, internationally recognized aviation company located in Southern Texas. This position is ideal for an experienced aviation maintenance planner or scheduler who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across Maintenance, Parts, Procurement, Flight Operations, and external customers.

Hourly Rate:

$35.00/hour

Annual Earnings:

Approximately $72,800+ annually, based on a 40-hour workweek, with overtime opportunities

Work Schedule

Full-Time, Exempt Position

Flexible schedule required

May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability

Extended hours may be required based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize aircraft maintenance schedules, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance

Forecast maintenance requirements based on aircraft utilization, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer recommendations

Coordinate maintenance planning for both base and deployed aircraft operations

Create, manage, and update maintenance work orders using maintenance tracking systems such as Corridor or equivalent

Maintain accurate maintenance records, tracking systems, and compliance documentation

Monitor maintenance status and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders

Coordinate with Parts and Procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials, parts, and services

Collaborate with Flight Operations to align maintenance schedules with aircraft availability and mission requirements

Develop maintenance quotes and communicate with customers and employees by phone, email, text, and in person

Debrief maintenance discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are properly documented and scheduled

Participate in scheduling meetings, maintenance reviews, operational briefings, audits, and process improvement initiatives

Ensure all planning activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in general aviation maintenance, maintenance planning, or scheduling

Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking software, such as Corridor or equivalent

Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills

Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work effectively across Maintenance, Parts, Flight Operations, and other departments

Must be able to pass a background check and participate in a DOT drug and alcohol testing program

Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Business, or related field

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification

Experience working within Part 91, Part 121, Part 135, and/or Part 145 operations

Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work will be performed in both office and aircraft hangar environments

Exposure to aircraft movement areas, loud noise, chemicals, and machinery

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Frequent walking, bending, stooping, standing, squatting, and climbing
