Material Coordinator - II

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Coordinator - II to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse facility. Your expertise in warehouse operations, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management will ensure smooth and efficient handling of materials, supporting our production and shipping processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Coordinate material requirements to support maintenance, operations, projects, and other site activities. Track material orders from requisition through delivery and communicate status to appropriate personnel. Utilize SAP to research materials, review inventory availability, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate material information. Work closely with planners, buyers, warehouse personnel, vendors, and end users to resolve material issues. Coordinate receiving, staging, storage, and issuance of materials. Monitor critical and expedited material requirements to ensure timely delivery. Assist with inventory management, material reconciliation, and identification of surplus or obsolete materials. Verify material specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements. Support purchase requisition and purchase order activities as needed. Communicate with vendors regarding order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies. Assist in resolving receiving, invoicing, damaged material, and documentation issues. Requirements Previous experience in materials coordination, supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related industrial environment. Working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP/material management system. Knowledge of material requisitions, purchase orders, inventory control, receiving, and material tracking processes. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, procurement, warehouse personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently follow issues through resolution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
