Full Job Description Duties:

Assist with tracing of shipments to destination and secure signature and delivery dates. Assist with creating production scheduling linking customer names and order numbers to part number and quantity. Assist in creating scheduling of castings with vendors for future orders as well as packaging material. Follow up with vendor to verify delivery dates on castings. Prepare bill of ladings and route all shipments. Call necessary carriers for pick up. Prepare reports related to shipments, inventory, etc. from SAP to MS Excel. Verify receiving documents and record in SAP. Monitor gate entrance at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Knowledge of manufacturing and material flow processes, with experience in material handling required
• Computer literate with familiarity working with an ERP system.
• Knowledge of Fed Ex, UPS System and Freight Carriers
• Familiarity with inventory and scales.
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good Communication abilities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Ability to drive a fork lift

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Must be able to occasionally move about the inside the office to access files, equipment, etc.
• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder
• Able to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Pay:

From $13.00 per hour
