Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist with experience in Trade Compliance to oversee daily logistics operations and ensure adherence to US importation and international trade regulations. This role is critical in maintaining efficient logistics processes while safeguarding the company against compliance risks. Key Responsibilities Trade Compliance Ensure all import/export activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Prepare and review import/export documentation including commodity HTS classification, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.

Stay current with US import tariffs, US import permits (e.g., FCC on communication commodity), and global trade regulations (e.g., HTS, EAR, ITAR, and ECCN)

Manage trade regulatory inquiries and train internal teams on trade compliance procedures and best practices. Logistics Operations Responsible for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to optimize logistics performance.

Resolve shipping and customs declaration issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Qualifications Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.

3+ years of experience in logistics, trade compliance, or customs brokerage.

Knowledge and experience with US import/customs and global trade regulations and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft tools

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Working experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus Preferred Skills Certification in trade compliance (e.g., CCS (Certified Customs Specialist), CUSECO) is a plus.

Experience working with global suppliers and freight partners

Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade documentation

Working experience in FTZ (free trade zone) manufacturer

Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports

Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
