Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to optimize production schedules and coordinate cross-functional operations in our drilling services division. You'll be the critical link ensuring seamless workflow from order intake to delivery. Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage new orders through established protocols and maintain accurate date tracking
- Update pick, production, and ship dates based on production meeting outcomes
- Generate work orders and coordinate with production, workshop, purchasing, and machine shop teams
- Monitor priority orders and provide daily status updates to buyers and planners
- Liaise with vendors on critical purchase order items
- Support planning supervisor/manager and manufacturing manager with additional projects as needed Skills / Education
- 1-3 years of planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment
- College degree in business or technical discipline
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel #LI-KP1
