This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys coordinating shipments, managing supply chain activities, and ensuring products move efficiently from origin to destination. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily transportation and distribution operations. You'll work closely with carriers, warehouse teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate domestic and international shipments from origin to final destination. Schedule pickups, deliveries, and transportation with approved carriers. Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams. Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation when required. Communicate with carriers, vendors, and warehouse personnel to resolve shipping issues. Monitor inventory movements and assist with inventory reconciliation. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. Investigate shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate logistics records and update transportation management systems. Support warehouse operations and supply chain planning activities as needed. Analyze shipping costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience. Strong understanding of shipping, distribution, and inventory management processes. Experience coordinating freight with multiple transportation providers. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures. Experience working with freight brokers, LTL, FTL, and parcel carriers. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a plus. Knowledge of supply chain best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
