SHIPPING COORDINATOR

If you answered yes to these questions … we should connect to discuss this opportunity! Our Southcentral Service Center based in Mesquite, Texas is looking to add a Shipping Coordinator to the team. What would you do as our Shipping Coordinator? In this position, you will help to manage the workflow between our warehouse, vendors, and customers. You will be the liaison between all parties ensuring that deliveries are accurate and are being consistently made on-time, as we work to meet the needs of our customers.
You would also:
Schedule outbound LTL shipments to customers and/or job sites, including Packing List and BOL (Bill of Lading) creation Schedule incoming intercompany truck deliveries Provide daily direction to the warehouse leads Verifying production schedules to meet customer expectations Complete daily invoicing for shipped orders, including issuing the Daily Invoicing Report to the proper parties. Log and track all incoming orders, notifying Customer Service of any order issue(s) which may affect delivery dates Create a log to track and maintain all backorders Create an ongoing log to track shipping errors, warranty issues, and/or customer complaints, with the purpose of reducing these issues Log and issue all Regulatory Agency labels as required per order Maintain customer files Perform other duties and special projects as required Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the

Code of Conduct The Skills and Experience you need : High School Diploma or GED equivalent 3+ years of logistics experience within a shipping, receiving, manufacturing or distribution environment Previous experience in load building, multi-truck stop utilizing a zone shipping schedule, as well as dealing directly with distributors and understanding their needs Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent problem solving, organizational, follow-up and a high comfort level balancing multiple priorities or projects simultaneously Proficient computer skills including email, Microsoft Suite, JDE or other MRP systems Comfortable using basic math skills Let's create a safer and more open world - together!
