Full-Time Opening LINK Staffing is hiring an Operations Specialist•Logistics in Houston, TX. This full-time position pays $45,000•55,000 per year , depending on experience. This role is a good fit for someone with logistics or transportation experience who can coordinate shipments, track containers, communicate with carriers and customers, manage appointments, and help keep transportation processes moving smoothly. Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipments, including drayage, trucking, rail, or ocean freight Track containers and help ensure timely pickup and delivery Manage appointments, port or rail schedules, and last free day deadlines Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, and warehouse teams Handle shipping documents such as BOLs, PODs, invoices, and related paperwork Monitor and help resolve delivery issues, delays, discrepancies, or shipment problems Update internal systems, spreadsheets, and shipment records Support billing review and verify charges when needed Requirements 1-3 years of logistics, transportation, freight, or operations experience preferred Experience with drayage or port operations is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Able to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment Proficient with Microsoft Excel and email communication Familiarity with TMS, port systems, rail systems, SAP, or similar platforms is a plus Knowledge of demurrage, detention, container flow, or import/export processes is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Apply Now Apply today with LINK Staffing for this Operations Specialist•Logistics opportunity in Houston, TX. #
