• Job Purpose
• The Logistics Specialist at Herc Rentals will play an important role in supporting a variety of complex projects in collaboration with branch operations, fleet planning and safety. Key activities of this position include; data compilation, data analytics of shipments, communication skills internally and externally, resolving billing issues and payments
• What you will do...
• + Assist with the implementation of a company-wide freight program encompassing all 3rd party logistics providers + Monitor internal and Supplier compliance to the Herc freight program and other performance measurements + Provide support with scheduling and monitoring rental equipment movements + Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources + Escalate issues internally and externally when needed to resolve issues + Support the freight bill audit and pay process; in house and outsourced + May involve special projects and ad hoc assignments + Maintains files, logs and other related documentation •Requirements•+ High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred + Equipment industry experience desirable •Skills•+ Team player with initiative and a positive attitude + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English - both verbal and written) + Understands basic concepts of supply chain + Results orientated, excellent analytical, process and problem solving skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint •Req #:•67592 •

Pay Range:

• $65,000 - $75,000 base salary Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
