The QISG team brings together Engineering, Safety, Quality, Material Procurement, QA/QC, Right-of-Way Acquisition, Scheduling, Environmental Planning, Permitting, Title and Land Management expertise that ensure outstanding results for our clients. About this Role General Description The Materials Clerk is responsible for project materials receiving, reconciling item discrepancies with purchasing and suppliers, validating quality inspection, and compiling reports. What You'll Do Duties Manages the shipment and receipt of project materials and supplies Receive, inspect, and count incoming materials, verifying accuracy against packing slips and invoices Collaborates and communicates with field personnel, materials coordinators, expeditors, buyers, suppliers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments Provides support for other areas of Materials Management department Verify shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders Unpack and store received items in designated locations Prepare outgoing shipments by generating pick tickets and shipping documents Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory movements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested What You'll Bring Required Experience and Education High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of relevant experience Preferred Experience and Education Associate or bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience Relevant career experience in the construction industry and exposure to EPC projects in the electric power delivery sector is preferred Skills Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive with a tenacious and empowering team orientated style Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated problem solving experience with the ability to multi-task and apply a structured approach to complex situations Ability to work irregular schedule and long hours required to meet required deadlines
