Full-Time Target Salary Range•: $89,000 - $90,000 This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary Position Overview The COMSEC Manager provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within SAPs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including HQ Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts. Key Responsibilities COMSEC Equipment and Materials Management Conduct inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC-related support and oversight functions for secure equipment, including secure telephones and encryption devices, and classified keying material. Install secure telephone equipment (STE). Coordinate the delivery of encryption devices and keying material to designated Information Technology (IT) specialists maintaining classified networks. Administer a Top Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials. Conduct inventories in accordance with agency policy and report discrepancies to the government customer. Maintain familiarity with COMSEC requirements and procedures, including the acquisition, maintenance, operation, and disposition of COMSEC equipment. Security and Compliance Ensure Automated Information Systems Security requirements related to COMSEC duties are followed. Ensure appropriate physical security accreditation has been issued by designated Program Security Officers for supported facilities. Courier classified information and prepare receipts for classified materials. Training and Support Train personnel on COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment. Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities. Physical Requirements Perform regular moderate lifting of approximately 25-40 pounds. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience [Required]. Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant experience [Required]. 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree [Required]. Experience 5 years of related experience [Required]. Clearance TS/SCI clearance [Required]. Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required]. Preferred Qualifications Experience SAP experience.
