Cavalier Logistics is seeking a detail-orientated and organized Fleet Coordinator to oversee daily fleet operations, equipment maintenance, and driver compliance with DOT regulations. The Fleet Coordinator will help ensure fleet efficiency, safety, and cost-effective operation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor fleet utilization and performance Schedule preventative maintenance, repairs and inspection Maintain accurate records for registrations, insurance, permits and service history Track fuel, mileage, GPS and telematics data Preparing reports for IFTA submission Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations Communicate with vendors and mechanics Prepare reports for fleet performance
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience in fleet coordination logistics, transportation or dispatch operation Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel Valid driver's license Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Skills:
Experience with fleet management systems such as Samara, JJ Keller Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or
