What You'll Do
Daily logistics and dispatch functions-assigning and dispatching all freight for two fabrication shops utilizing both CMC fleet and 3rd party carriers
Communicate daily with fleet drivers and carriers all expectations pertaining to loading and delivery
Act as a primary liaison between the shop, drivers, carriers, along with the consignee as needed with any issues either at the shop or delivery locations
Optimizing fleet and carrier usage based on the delivery markets and costs
Maintain excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with carriers
Ability to determine correct truck / trailer count to cover the shipping volume needed to service customers
Driver and asset management
Maintain asset files for trucks and trailers
SAP maintenance
Monitoring compliance with
