The MRAP Transportation & Movement Support supportsACC/A4RM
in executing tactical and strategic logistics, maintenance planning, configuration management, technical analysis, policy, procedural development, Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), and program management support for the MRAP weapon system. Responsibilities & Objectives of thisRole:
Coordinate transportation arrangements with the losing/gaining field level units. Generate movement memorandums for government review and release. Provide official memorandum and historical documentation on the movement of MRAP Platforms and associated MSE to and from depot and integration facilities and from integration facilities to final beddown location as directed by theMRAP SSM
Program Manager. Track movement status and inform gaining unit of departure, estimated arrival, and reception instructions. Obtain access to transportation tracking systems (United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Global Transportation Network, and electronic Transportation Acquisition, etc.) that provide in transit visibility of directed shipments to final destination. Work closely with units to ensure platform inspections are conducted and accurate prior to each MRAP movement. Submit requests to theMRAP SSM
for the use of their Transportation Account Code (TAC) for movements of MRAPs, MSE, Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI), and vehicle parts supporting depot and integration activities. Collaborate with United States (US) Army and US Marines Corp for the movement of MRAPs between depot and integration facilities. Review LTI workbooks submitted by field units for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting movement funds and finalizing the required movement actions. Assist in the development of a Support Agreement between US Army TACOM andACC/A4R MRAP WST
to ensure all AF MRAP Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) assigned to CONUS and OCONUS locations are properly serviced with the latest software updates and maintained in a fully mission capable (FMC) status. Develop fleet- wide movement status reports and distribute to MAJCOM and HAF leadership as required. Assist with command level logistics management and analysis planning for the Air Force MRAP program. Integrate warfighter needs by standardizing, developing, and implementing logistics elements to ensure supportability of acquisition and sustainment
