JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Process Coordinator supports production operations and engineering efforts through a balanced role that requires frequent travel between plants updating work instructions on the manufacturing floor and in the ERP system, engaging with other departments on a daily basis. The Manufacturing Process Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and managing Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), verifying the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and operation times, and updating production schedules to meet customer demands.

The Manufacturing Process Coordinator directly reports to the Director of Engineering
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
Education, Training, and/or Experience U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Valid Driver's License Associate's Degree; experience may be considered in lieu of Degree Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role (manufacturing industry preferred) Experience in technical writing, scheduling, expediting, distribution, supply chain or inventory management preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment Regularly required to sit, speak, and listen for extended periods of time Frequently required to use eye‐hand coordination, repetitive hand movements and manual dexterity to handle and type Occasionally bend, twist, reach to shoulder level; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds; with assistance if over 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus Hearing level within normal/average range
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Solid fluency in the English language with an emphasis on writing skills Understanding of work flows and procedures Strong attention to detail; highly accurate Intermediate/Advanced alphanumeric typing skills Ability to operate company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to learn and maintain a working knowledge of interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, projects and specifications Knowledgeable in integrated manufacturing software programs, and Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organization and time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks at a time Adaptable to changes in the work environment; ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events Ability to work under pressure; maintain composure and professionalism at all times Team player with a positive and respectful attitude; strong sense of self‐motivation, accountability, and responsibility
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) Communicate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) in a timely manner Update in-process work instructions by performing redlines at multiple plants (driving company vehicle) Track parts and materials data in company ERP system Provide status on parts, subassemblies, and tooling Update production schedules in ERP to accommodate priority objectives in a timely manner Communicate production issues Coordinate process improvements as requested Correspond with customers and suppliers as necessary Help improve efficiency and avoid production downtime or delays Other duties as assigned Management reserves the right to assign and/or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
