Job Description
Hiring a Supply Chain Planner for a large tech company in Kirkland, WA! If interested, please apply directly. Job Description This role involves a blend of planning, inventory coordination, shortage management, and floor support. The planner will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, ensuring seamless execution of production processes and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities + Assist in maintaining data accuracy to ensure all tools and processes function correctly. + Level load work orders to maintain productivity and meet demand. + Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to determine inventory needs. + Execute various purchase orders, in-stock, and vendor-related systems and reports. + Deliver completed kits to production spaces to ensure seamless execution. + Coordinate with warehouse teams directly, assisting with Kanban processes and utilizing the Jira system to preemptively backfill kits. + Carry and inspect full kits of products destined for specific work orders. + Quickly identify assemblies based on labels and other identifiers. Essential Skills + 2-3+ years of planning experience with inventory management systems, particularly SAP or a similar ERP system. + Proficiency in Smartsheets or Excel, including pivot tables, filtering, and formulas. + Strong data analysis skills, including root cause analysis of shortages/issues. + Experience in a production environment. + Excellent soft skills, including being a go-getter, team player, and adaptable to change. + Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Flexibility and adaptability to work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. + Tech-savvy with experience navigating files in Excel and Smartsheets. + Capability to perform 10,000 steps per week. + A degree is preferred but relevant experience can substitute formal education. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite with shifts likely from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm (four 10-hour days). The role involves both computer work and hands-on support within a warehouse/production environment in Kirkland, WA. Candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks such as walking and carrying items. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kirkland, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
