The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Event and Logistics Specialist (level 2) to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Customer Relations (CR) team based out of Renton, Seattle, and Everett Washington . With guidance, they will be responsible for integrating and fulfilling logistical requirements for Boeing's customers as they move through the airplane delivery process. This group operates at a fast pace to deliver world-class customer service to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is adaptive, resourceful, and able to work with globally diverse cultures.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop plans for customer activities with appropriate supervision. Execute logistics including badging, parking passes, transportation, rental car reservations, hotel reservations, catering, and tours. Use knowledge of company resources and vendor services to execute plans. Implement logistics and business courtesies in accordance with company policies and procedures, protocols, and U.S. and foreign government guidelines. Make recommendations and revisions during visit preparation and maintenance process in order to satisfy customer and event requirements. Assist with logistics for business meetings, customer events, and deliveries (can be on-site or at an off-site location). Ensure administrative tasks associated with coordinating visits, including accurate and timely submittal of invoices, is complete. Compare invoice data (estimates vs. actuals) to identify and report anomalies. Prepare domestic and international shipments. May be asked to track data and provide status reports for special events, deliveries, and customer engagements. Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers. Negotiate and identify requirements and communicate to key personnel. Provide coverage when senior Customer Relations Specialists requests assistance either for the remainder of the day or per the manager's discretion. Provide coverage for coworkers who are out of the office for various lengths of time. Partner with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Relations team members from other sites including Everett and Charleston as well as those located in Southern California, and London. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ year experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) 3+ year experience in a customer facing role engaging with internal or external customers Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher Experience in organizing, planning and facilitating large scale events
