Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring Materials flow to point of use when required to support production departments and our customers. Teams with cross functional departments and suppliers to support the most cost-effective source and usage of Aircraft Materials, all the time ensuring a seamless supply chain process from order to delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Function and work as part of global Supply Chain Team to support business requirements. Place purchase requisitions with the latest price for materials is support of production and direct shipments to customers at various global locations. Maintain the most cost-effective solution for Freight to meet our production requirements. Locate stock into the correct locations in accordance with required procedures. Loading and unloading of deliveries and shipments, ensuring ERP system accuracy. Perform cycle counting, physical monthly and yearly inventory counts, ensuring adjustments are actioned timely in IAC's ERP system. Highlight any stock shortages and issues to the relevant personnel and action immediately. Ensure paperwork for shipments received, are maintained and stored correctly. Label and stamp required items upon receipt. Ensure monitoring of Materials consumption for each Aircraft event, reporting job cost consumption within 24 hours of aircraft departure. Ensure daily targets are met for receiving, picking/issuing and packing of material. Maintain Daily Temp and humidity Logs. Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures Any other tasks assigned by Supply Chain Lead/Supervisor/Manager or Leadership Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Qualifications:
High school diploma 1-3 years related experience and/or training; Forklift Certification and material handling experience preferred Previous Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving, and Cycle Counting Experience Shipping certification a plus Good computer, written skills including knowledge of MS Office Experience in ERP systems preferred
