You Are:

UST is searching for a Senior Demand Planner with 2 years of experience in supply chain management or supporting supply chain preferably.

The opportunity:

• Developing SKU-level operational forecasts for a number of products within an assigned portfolio via coordination of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes using SAP Demand Planning functionality.
• Interacting regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, CPFR, Finance, & Supply Planning and will utilize historical order and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, and promotional activity information to develop the best possible demand plans for new and existing products.
• Quantifying and communicating forecast gaps, leading cross-functional forecast reviews in accordance with the IBP process standards, and maintaining responsibilities for MAPE and Forecast Accuracy metrics and to identify areas of improvement.

What you need:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years business experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excel (i.e. vLookups, pivot tables) is required.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and work independently while demonstrating initiative is required.
• The ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist is required.
• This position will be based out of Summit, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
• Desired Qualifications
• Manufacturing, distribution, customer service and/or planning is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Forecasting preferred
• Experience in the Consumer industry or other FDA regulated industry is preferred.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• Lean, Six-Sigma or Process Excellence training and/or certification is preferred.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Jersey Compensation Range:

$57,000-$88,000 Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
