Job Description

Our client in Tacoma, WA is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant
  • Logistics & Compliance to support a busy industrial facility.
This is a fully onsite opportunity responsible for processing regulated documentation, supporting receiving and logistics functions, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with facility check-in processes. Pay:
$22.00

00/hr (Depending on experience, tenure, industry experience, and relevant administrative/logistics experience)

Tacoma, WA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday |
Training Schedule:
8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM for the first month |
Regular Schedule:
3:00 PM
  • 11:30 PM after training Responsibilities
  • Process incoming paperwork and documentation related to logistics, inventory, receiving, and facility operations
  • Review, maintain, and update regulatory and compliance records
  • Assist truck drivers with paperwork completion and facility check-in procedures
  • Perform accurate data entry across multiple software systems
  • Track inventory and container information to support operational needs
  • Scan, copy, file, and organize physical and electronic records
  • Support communication between office personnel and plant operations teams
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance records
  • Cross-train with administrative team members and provide coverage as needed
  • Follow established procedures while contributing to process improvements Qualification Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, logistics, receiving, inventory, clerical, or office coordination roles
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Experience handling documentation, recordkeeping, and filing processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Reliable attendance and consistent work history
  • Experience supporting logistics, receiving, inventory tracking, or transportation functions is preferred Disqualifiers
  • Unable to work the required 3:00 PM
  • 11:30 PM schedule after training
  • Less than 1 year of relevant administrative, logistics, receiving, inventory, or office support experience
  • Limited data entry or computer proficiency
  • Inability to work fully onsite in Tacoma, WA
