Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and dispatch all flatbed trucks (flatbed fleet includes company trucks and a flexible number of outside carriers / owner-operators).
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance / repairs with truck shop.
- Assist with general duties across container dispatch, bulk dispatch. ○ Enter available loads into dispatch software. ○ Monitor dispatch software for accuracy. ○ Coordinate loading and unloading appointments as needed. ○ Help resolve delivery issues at depots. ○ Use dispatch software to investigate delivery history when necessary.
- Coordinate with other dispatchers to learn, support, and help cover their roles as needed. Compensation
- $65,000-$70,000 annual salary (paid biweekly)
- Health Insurance (employees are eligible to participate after 60 days of employment)
