POSITION SUMMARY
As an Operations Support Representative at WEL Companies, you'll serve as a crucial link between various departments and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of transportation operations. Your primary focus will be on facilitating communication between drivers and dispatchers and resolving customer inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide direction to drivers to ensure excellent customer service. Monitor and track driver performance to ensure on-time delivery and safe driving practices. Communicate with driver to provide dispatch information, support, guidance, and address any issues that may arise during their trips. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, such as delays and mechanical malfunctions to minimize disruptions and maintain service quality. Analyze data and reports to ensure FDA food safety, fuel efficiency, and overall fleet performance. Collaborate closely with dispatchers to coordinator driver assignments, track shipments, and update delivery schedules as needed to meet customer demands and operational targets. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries afterhours, providing timely and accurate responses to address concerns, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; required Associate degree (Logistics, Business Management, or relatable field); preferredExperience:
5 plus years of experience in the transportation industry. AS400 experience; a plusComputer Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products and Windows. Ability to learn and use proprietary software. Advanced keyboarding skills.Essential Skills:
