You will love taking full ownership of material planning and vendor management in a role that directly influences the success of daily plant operations. This is a fantastic Direct Hire opportunity to bring your procurement expertise or education to an industry leader where your strategic planning makes an immediate impact every day. Role Highlights

• $24-28/hr based on experience
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Direct Hire
• Stable daytime schedule
• Collaborative and growing team environment What You Will Do
• Manage master production schedules and material requirements plans
• Create, review and order purchase orders
• Verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, lead times and delivery schedules
• Assist with sourcing new suppliers, products, and materials as needed
• Identify and communicate any issues such as material shortages or scheduling conflicts What You Will Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field ...
• Previous experience as a Buyer, Planner, or Supply Chain Specialist is preferred
• Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory control principles
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and forecasting
