Bachelor's Degree preferred Position Overview We are seeking a Transportation Planner I to join our global Integrated Supply Chain organization in Milwaukee, WI . This role is part of the Logistics team—which encompasses Transportation, Distribution, and Trade Compliance—and plays a critical role in ensuring reliable, cost-effective movement of goods across North America and international markets.

Key Responsibilities Shipment Coordination:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing daily North America and/or international transportation shipments across multiple modes (truckload, LTL, parcel, air, ocean).

System Management:

Utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) to book shipments, manage carrier assignments, track in-transit shipments, and resolve exceptions.

SAP Data Entry:

Leverage SAP to process purchase orders, create delivery documents, and ensure accurate freight data entry and reconciliation.

Stakeholder Communication:

Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or exceptions to internal stakeholders including manufacturing, distribution, and customer service teams.

Vendor Collaboration:

Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

Compliance Tracking:

Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.

ERP Systems:

Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in a transportation or logistics context desired.

Logistics Software:

Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) for shipment planning and execution a plus.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with North American transportation modes and carriers (TL, LTL, parcel).

Core Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally.
