Months Job Duties:
Execute material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of materials and work-in-process inventory for production. Order and plan materials based on production and business needs. Maintain and update accurate material planning data in SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response. Monitor material and product changes and update planning systems accordingly. Manage material changes to support business plans while minimizing excess inventory and material obsolescence. Coordinate material availability and production timelines with Operations, Marketing, Planning, Packaging, and Graphics teams. Communicate with vendors to coordinate delivery schedules, establish priorities, and proactively address potential supply constraints. Monitor supplier capacity and resources to ensure alignment with production schedules and business requirements. Analyze supply and material data to identify potential issues and support effective planning decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material availability, scheduling, and supply chain issues. Support and/or lead special projects related to logistics, supply chain, material planning, and process improvement.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Must have prior Material Planning / Supply Planning experience, including MRP and material availability planning for production. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with SAP, Kinaxis/Maestro, or other ERP/planning systems Travel required
