Job Description
You'll be the person making the pieces fit. On a major refinery turnaround, thousands of people, vehicles, cranes, trailers, services, and materials have to move through the same site without creating chaos. You'll own that flow—and your decisions will directly affect whether the turnaround stays safe, organized, and on schedule. What you'll actually do: Build and manage the temporary site plot plan for contractor trailers, fabrication areas, equipment staging, lunchrooms, and other temporary facilities. Coordinate mobilization, demobilization, and day-to-day support of cranes, aerial lifts, generators, and other heavy equipment. Serve as the go-to contact for logistics vendors handling cleaning, fueling, security, parking, and workforce transportation. Keep temporary facilities functioning and troubleshoot problems for contractors and the turnaround team. Coordinate hydro-blasting water, vacuum trucks, waste removal, portable sanitation, and other essential turnaround services. Work directly with the TAR Scheduler to make sure the logistics plan keeps pace with the P6 schedule. Keep vendors, contractors, and site resources moving when execution gets busy and plans inevitably change.
