Northrop Grumman is seeking an
- Associate Liaison Engineer / Liaison Engineer
- . This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in
- Wichita, KS.
- The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's
- Vehicle Engineering
- directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and resolve engineering related production problems related to manufacturing, design, quality and material engineering.
- The Liaison Engineer will assist with the disposition of withheld supplier tags.
- Design repairs for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from composite materials.
- Tasks will include interfacing with multiple suppliers, dispositioning of discrepant material tags, interfacing with stakeholder groups such as Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing and Manufacturing personnel in the design center and build facilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System, MES, and a Northrop Grumman MRB EN signature is a plus This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Liaison Engineer level 1 or a Liaison Engineer level 2.
- Basic Qualifications for an Associate Liaison Engineer Level 1:
- A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria.
The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.
- Basic Qualifications for a Liaison Engineer Level 2:
- A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria.
The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution by August 2027 or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and has 2 years of related engineering experience by August 2027.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.
- Preferred Qualifications for an
Associate Liaison Engineer/Liaison Engineer:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Pay Range:
- Associate Liaison Engineer Level 1: $62,300 - $93,500
- Liaison Engineer Level 2: $75,100 - $112,700 The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
