About Us Pattons, now owned and operated by ELGi USA, began selling custom medical air packages to hospitals in 1980. Deciding to sell and service our own medical gas equipment nationwide, we created Pattons Medical in 2008. We hired some of the best in the medical gas business with extensive backgrounds in sales, marketing, manufacturing and engineering. Within a short period of time, we were able to create a company and product line that is second to none in the industry. Although the influx of this new talent brought new ideas, products and direction to the company, our "old fashioned" commitment to our employees and our customers remains steadfast. About the Opportunity The Engineering Support Specialist is responsible for creating, structuring, and managing accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and updating item master records within the Infor LN ERP database. This role bridges the gap between design engineering and manufacturing operations to ensure flawless data integrity, compliance, and material planning. This is an onsite position, based out of our Charlotte, NC office. About You As an Engineering Support Specialist, you will: Translate CAD drawings and engineering changes into accurate material lists without delays. Works in close coordination with the Product Management teams on requests for new TPL creation, Item Creation and BOM Changes and Transfer Price Updates Maintain structured revision history tracking to ensure compliance with medical industry standards. Ensure item master data is current so parts can be ordered accurately and on time. Provide error-free BOMs and routings to avoid production halts or scheduling errors Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) quickly to keep operations synchronized with design updates. Run regular automated or manual data integrity reports comparing ERP outputs against engineering source files. Participate in cross-functional engineering and supply chain alignment meetings to preemptively flag BOM structure issues. Master the Infor LN data entry screens to efficiently input item masters, component quantities, and part dispositions. The Design Engineer opportunity may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent professional training in engineering technology, database management, or supply chain 0-2 years of data administration experience within a manufacturing environment using Infor LN (or equivalent heavy enterprise ERP software)
