Job Description

Description Our client, a growing product-based organization in the nutritional ingredients space, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Import Specialist to join its operations team. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of logistics experience and hands-on exposure to international imports who is looking to take ownership of the order-to-delivery process and work closely with customers, suppliers, warehouses, carriers, and customs brokers. This position will support the movement of high-value import shipments, manage customer and supplier relationships, coordinate customs clearance activities, and ensure products are delivered efficiently and accurately. The company offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with significant growth potential. Responsibilities

+ Manage international import shipments from purchase order through final delivery

+ Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships

+ Process purchase orders and monitor inventory levels

+ Coordinate customs clearance and import documentation with brokers and carriers

+ Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues

+ Negotiate freight rates and coordinate drayage, FTL, and LTL transportation

+ Prepare shipping documentation including BOLs, COAs, packing lists, and releases

+ Process customer invoicing, vendor invoices, credits, and returns

+ Manage special customer requests and documentation requirements

+ Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and special projects as needed Requirements Key Qualifications + a completed bachelor's degree

REQUIRED

; Supply Chain or related field preferred + 3-5 years of logistics, supply chain, or transportation experience

+ Minimum 1-2 years of international import experience

+ Experience within a product-based environment (nutritional ingredients, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, manufacturing, chemical, or similar industries preferred)

+ Experience managing large-dollar-volume orders ($50K-$500K+)

+ Strong tenure and stable work history
