As a Final Inspection and Shipping Specialist at CalRamic, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our high-reliability ceramic capacitors meet precise standards before reaching our customers. In this position, you will perform final visual and mechanical evaluations, safely package sensitive components according to protective handling standards, and coordinate outgoing logistics using major shipping platforms. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly safeguard product reliability and maintain customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform final visual and mechanical inspection on completed high-reliability ceramic capacitors to ensure adherence to customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Utilize calipers and other precision measuring tools to verify component dimensions and physical tolerances. Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with industry standards and customer-specific packaging requirements. Process and stage outbound freight and parcel packages efficiently using shipping portals and carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Clearly communicate quality non-conformances, inventory discrepancies, or shipping delays to leadership. Maintain process control, efficiency, and safety by monitoring shipping accuracy and evaluating inspection sample results. Expand technical knowledge of packaging equipment and logistics processes, proactively proposing enhancements to streamline operations.

Skills and Experience Experience:

1+ years of experience in final visual and mechanical inspection, assembly, or shipping/packaging within a manufacturing environment (electronics or capacitor manufacturing preferred).

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools, particularly calipers and micrometers.

Logistics & Shipping:

Familiarity with processing domestic and international shipments using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL software/portals.

Blueprint Reading:

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and work orders accurately. Attention to

Excellent visual acuity and high precision when inspecting small, delicate components and verifying shipping documentation.

Communication:

Strong professional verbal and written communication skills for reporting non-conformances and coordinating with leadership and production teams.
