Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Storeroom Coordinator to join our new Timberstrand facility in Monticello, AR. This is a full-time, hourly production position and reports to the Buyer/Materials Manager. The Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, control, and overall effectiveness of storeroom operations. This role ensures accurate inventory management, material availability, and alignment between stores, maintenance, production, and supply chain functions. Key Responsibilities Demonstrated ability and willingness to comply with all site safety requirements, including participation in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hot work, and confined space procedures, as required by training and operational needs. Ensuring consistent use of safe work practices in all aspects of the work performed by self and others. Coordinate daily storeroom activities and prioritize material requests. Serve as primary contact between stores, maintenance, production, and procurement. Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts and variance resolution. Monitor inventory levels, min/max settings, and stock availability. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, kitting, layout optimization, standard work). Track and report key performance indicators (inventory accuracy, service levels, stockouts). Provide functional guidance and support to Stores Clerks as needed. Ensure compliance with safety, inventory control, and company procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Post-secondary education is preferred. Strong Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system experience (SAP preferred). Solid understanding of inventory controls and materials management practices. Additional Skills Strong organizational and coordination skills. Analytical problem solving abilities. Effective communication across departments. Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple demands.
