Role Description Our South Division Accounting Clerk will be out of Monticello, AR and will support the day-to-day accounting operations for the Monticello and Star City locations, including customer billing, invoicing, statements, accounts receivable, payment posting, collections, and customer account maintenance. Responsibilities include processing and maintaining customer documentation, monitoring outstanding balances and credit terms, making and recording daily deposits, assisting with reconciliations and month-end procedures, and ensuring accounting records are accurate and up to date. This position will communicate with customers regarding invoices, statements, payments, and account questions while working closely with South Division management and the corporate accounting team. The Accounting Clerk will also maintain confidential financial information, follow established accounting procedures, and assist with general office and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools. Strong bookkeeping skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles.. Relevant experience in an accounting or clerical role, preferably in a business or industrial setting. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks. Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners. High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion in handling financial information. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
