With 20 Service Centers across North America, FSBP has created a network that provides the best support for our customers around the country. FSBP specializes in transforming outdoor living spaces with patio covers, pool enclosures, awnings, lattices and pergolas. Four Seasons Building Products is currently seeking an experienced Buyer / Inventory Control Analyst to join our thriving manufacturing business in Southern California. At our manufacturing location for the West Coast business, serving locations with over $40 million in sales, you will work in a dynamic environment, controlling material supply for the region, maintaining accurate inventory, and improving and professionalizing our purchasing and inventory processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase raw materials, components and supplies to ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing across multiple locations
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times and terms with vendors; manage vendor relationships and performance
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for 1,000+ SKUs, setting and maintaining min/max, reorder points and safety stock
  • Plan and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve variances
  • Analyze usage, forecasts and lead times to balance material availability against inventory carrying costs
  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete and excess inventory and recommend corrective action
  • Maintain accurate item, purchasing and inventory data in the ERP system
  • Build Excel-based reports and KPIs (inventory accuracy, turns, fill rate, on-time delivery) for management
  • Partner with production, warehouse, and accounting teams to improve purchasing and inventory control processes Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of purchasing and/or inventory control experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and vendor management
  • Strong attention to detail (managing 1,000+ SKUs to ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing)
  • Excellent analytical skills with advanced experience manipulating data in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
  • Working knowledge of inventory control practices such as cycle counting, reorder planning and inventory reconciliation
  • ERP experience in a multi-site environment (Syteline experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities
  • 4-year college degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field would be a plus;
APICS/ASCM
