Job Description

Meta is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to join the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) team to focus on operations and business enablement for all of Meta's infrastructure (servers, data centers, network) supply chain. This role will focus on optimizing supply chain operations, managing end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, and planning at various levels to balance capacity, flexibility, supply capability, and cost, from base components through manufacturing to finished goods, in an environment of continual product introduction, directly managing billions of dollars in investments annually. We will do this primarily by building software and workflow automation tooling, not manual spreadsheets. This role is very cross-functional and provides an opportunity to work with supply chain partners and a variety of engineering and business teams to power the rapid growth of Meta's products. This role will help to ensure optimal deployment and operation of our infrastructure from both a cost and technology perspective, with millions of servers, gigawatts of data center capacity, and cutting-edge technology including advanced AI.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing models, optimization algorithms, operations research, industrial engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in coding/scripting languages such as Python, R, Java, C, C++, PHP 3+ years of experience in supply chain management — order management, planning, manufacturing, operations, inventory, etc Experience working with distributed systems at scale Experience in infrastructure operations and technical infrastructure knowledge Experience with planning or optimization or modeling or performance analysis Experience working with cross-functional teams Experience managing ambiguity Experience using business intelligence or data visualization platforms to build supply chain reporting and capacity coverage dashboards Track record of applying AI or automation tools to improve planning workflows, forecast accuracy, or supply chain visibility Experience with data center infrastructure supply chains, including server hardware, networking equipment, or storage systems procurement and deployment planning Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods or demand planning tools applied to infrastructure or hardware supply chains
