21 Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Good experience in Supply Chain Management for NPI programs/environment. Knowledge of Inventory/warehouse management, extensive usage of SAP â€" inventory count/physical inventory. Work alongside with MRP controllers, Finance, Materials planners, Inventory analysts etc., Experience in managing end to end SAP with supply chain management. Required Qualifications & Skills ● SAP Proficiency (Required): Advanced experience in SAP (specifically MM and WM/EWM modules). Must be comfortable with T-Codes, movement types, and data extraction. ●
Experience:
5+ years in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations. ●
Analytical:
Strong Google Sheets/ Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Visualization) and the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights. Roles & Responsibilities This is a hands-on, onsite role that will be the primary "problem solver" for our Client’s materials and distribution at the Milpitas, CA facility: triaging issues that disrupt the flow of goods, optimizing warehouse throughput, and managing the lifecycle of materials from receipt to final disposition. Key Responsibilities 1. Issue Triage & Operational Flow ●
Inbound/Outbound Triage:
Act as the first point of contact for receiving discrepancies, shipping errors, or documentation gaps. Resolve Purchase Order, Serial Number, etc. issues blocking inbound receipts or outbound orders. ●
Throughput Optimization:
Monitor warehouse workflows to identify bottlenecks; partner with the warehouse team to ensure KPIs (Picking Accuracy, Putaway Time, etc.) are met. ●
Systems Support:
Troubleshooting SAP transactional errors (Serial Number discrepancies, Purchase Order issues, or Posting issues) to keep the floor moving. 2. Inventory Accuracy & Integrity ●
Cycle Counting:
Oversee and support cycle counting requirements within the facility to maintain high inventory accuracy. ● Root Cause Analysis (RCA): When variances occur, perform deep-dive investigations into SAP history to identify process failures and implement corrective actions. ●
Scrap & Disposition:
Manage the end-of-life process for damaged or obsolete goods, ensuring all scrap is physically segregated and financially transacted correctly. 3. Data Analytics & Reporting ●
Inventory Aging:
Monitor and report on slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Drive action plans for disposition to free up warehouse space. ●
KPI Management:
Manage key metrics including Inventory Accuracy, Aging, Inbound/ Outbound throughput. ●
Special Projects:
Act as onsite lead for any special projects as requested.
