Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Low Voltage / Access Control Technicians to join our growing team. This role supports the installation, service, and repair of structured cabling systems, electrified door hardware, and access control/security solutions across commercial, industrial, and retail environments. This position offers a variety of hands-on work, daily challenges, and the opportunity to deliver critical infrastructure and security solutions to our clients.Key Responsibilities:
3+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage systems, structured cabling, or access control installations Install, service, and repair low voltage and security systems in the field Pull and route CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial environments Install support structures such as ladder racks, equipment racks, and J-hooks Install and configure: Electrified door hardware Access control systems IP cameras and surveillance systems Wireless access points (WAPs) Terminate, test, and troubleshoot voice/data cabling, phone jacks, and distribution frames Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate project completion Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles Follow company processes, procedures, and safety standards Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and leadership Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or access control systems Knowledge of commercial voice and data cabling installations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrified door hardware and access control systems Experience as a Lead Technician in commercial environments Ownership of basic hand tools (punch-down tools, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, etc.)Benefits:
