POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Logistics - USA Ports & Transportation, the Logistics Operations Analyst will support the success of the business by analyzing, improving, and redesigning processes. Achieving the company's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) requires a high level of data analytics proficiency and data integrity. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and project management skills, and must be able to identify and recommend improvements. This position requires regular visits to Chiquita's five U.S. ports to understand operations and implement necessary controls and procedures aligned with company objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement process improvements across Chiquita's five North American ports.
• Educate internal stakeholders on system usage and operational best practices.
• Monitor inventory flow across multiple systems and platforms.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support organizational knowledge retention.
• Gather information from all relevant sources to inform decision-making.
• Analyze and organize data to provide operational visibility.
• Serve as functional user of intercompany systems and programs, including Chiquita's proprietary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Microsoft Excel, for process and data management.
• Serve as coverage for Operations Managers and other key Operational Roles as needed including special assignments.
• Manage relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Evaluate information and solve problems to determine optimal solutions.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize work effectively.
• Meet deadlines and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
