Norcross, GA Job Summary Air Systems Components (ASC), a business segment of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI), is seeking a Materials Analyst for our Norcross, GA manufacturing facility. ASC manufactures high-quality air distribution products utilized across commercial and industrial applications. The Materials Analyst is responsible for inventory control, materials planning, scheduling analysis, and production support to ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the operation. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support customer delivery commitments, optimize material availability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and cost effectiveness. What You'll Do Analyze inventory levels, demand signals, and production schedules to support on-time delivery and balanced material flow. Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, availability, and cost efficiency. Develop, maintain, and analyze reports to support production planning, inventory management, and operational decision-making. Maintain data integrity within ERP/MRP systems and support inventory control processes. Support daily production requirements by managing material shortages, schedule alignment, and inventory planning activities. Lead cycle count programs, investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Manage MRB inventory and non-conforming materials to minimize excess, obsolete, and aging inventory. Review and improve PFEP (Plan for Every Part), including material flow, storage locations, replenishment strategies, and Kanban sizing. Optimize inventory planning parameters, including safety stock levels, lot sizes, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and ABC classifications. Collaborate with purchasing, production, engineering, warehouse, and logistics teams to improve inventory performance and plant efficiency. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to materials management, inventory control, and production support. Participate in plant safety programs, audits, and reporting of unsafe conditions. What We're Looking For Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, purchasing, or logistics; OR Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of inventory management principles and ERP/MRP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work effectively across functional teams and communicate clearly with all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience in HVAC, air distribution, or related manufacturing environments. Knowledge of Oracle, Macpac or similar ERP systems. Experience with forecasting, production scheduling, and materials planning. APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or progress toward certification. Knowledge of statistical analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
