Additional Information:
This role is located in Morton IL and does not offer relocation. This role is 1st shift, Monday- Friday.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the primary inventory management advisor for assigned dealers, helping optimize parts inventory levels based on historical demand, business trends, and future customer needs. Partner with dealers to develop inventory stocking strategies that balance customer availability, inventory investment, and operational performance across large-scale inventories. Lead dealer engagements and provide guidance on inventory management processes, tools, and best practices to improve service levels and business results. Support dealers with onboarding, training, system access, new store setup, replenishment policies, inventory planning, and sourcing activities. Analyze inventory performance using key metrics such as Territorial Dealer Availability, On Time in Full performance, backorders, inventory turns, excess inventory, and customer availability, providing recommendations for improvement. Identify performance gaps and implement inventory optimization initiatives, including Predictive Inventory Control Predictive Modeling, Irregular Demand Prediction, Machine Parts Intelligence, Sales to End Users Growth, Automated Leading Parts Signal programs, and Territorial Dealer Availability loss analysis. Troubleshoot inventory management system issues, data synchronization concerns, order processing exceptions, and other operational challenges impacting dealer performance. Communicate inventory strategies, analytical findings, and business recommendations to dealers, leadership, Collaboration Managers, and cross-functional teams. Translate dealer feedback into improvements for inventory management systems, reporting tools, training materials, work instructions, and dealer-facing processes. Lead or contribute to strategic projects, process improvements, reporting enhancements, dashboard development, and global inventory management initiatives to drive operational excellence and standardization. Forecast future parts demand using historical data, market trends, and dealer insights to ensure the right inventory is available at the right time while minimizing excess stock. Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.Logistics Management:
Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.Planning and Organizing:
Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Supply Chain Management•MFG:
Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes. What Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have): Experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, aftermarket parts, or dealer operations. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations. Experience with data and reporting tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, SAS, or similar platforms. Ability to build trusted relationships and influence customers and stakeholders without direct authority. Experience supporting dealers or customers through inventory optimization, training, business reviews, or performance improvement initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, customer-focused manner. Demonstrated initiative, accountability, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset.What You Will Get:
