Supply Chain Location:
Indianapolis, IN 46229 Your mission Support a resilient, cost-effective supply base while keeping materials available and projects on schedule.
Core responsibilities Supplier partnerships:
Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure dependable delivery.
Market intelligence:
Track industry pricing and evaluate supplier scorecards to inform buy strategies.
Commercials:
Lead vendor negotiations on pricing and contract terms to optimize total cost.
Supply assurance:
Monitor inventory and forecast needs to avoid shortages.
Alignment:
Work cross-functionally to connect purchasing plans with company objectives.
Governance:
Keep precise records for purchases, pricing, and inventory activity.
Continuous improvement:
Identify opportunities that streamline the supply chain.
Policy support:
Assist in drafting and updating procurement policies and procedures. Skills and experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing or supply chain management. Negotiation strength and supplier relationship-building capability. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Fluency with Microsoft Office and common supply chain software platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to excel independently and as part of a team in a high-velocity environment. What success looks like On-time materials, data-driven purchasing decisions, continuous cost optimization, and a documented procurement process that scales with the business.
