Position Summary Sonablate Corp. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Specialist I to support the flow of materials needed to meet production schedules, job kitting requirements, and customer sales orders. This position plays an important role in inventory accuracy, material traceability, shipping and receiving, and the timely movement of materials throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a hands-on materials environment, and committed to following established quality and safety procedures. Previous material-handling or medical-device experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate serial and lot number traceability throughout the controlled material process. Complete accurate and timely data entry to ensure materials are properly transacted according to established processes. Pull and kit materials to fulfill job cards, material requests, production requirements, and sales orders. Perform inventory audits to verify quantities, serial and lot numbers, labeling, and material accuracy. Support shipping, receiving, and processing of customer purchase orders. Assist with receiving, inspecting, organizing, and storing incoming materials. Maintain assigned areas of the company quality system and follow applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain an organized and efficient materials, inventory, shipping, and receiving area. Operate a pallet jack and safely push, pull, and move materials on skids or crates. Follow all company safety, quality, inventory-control, and material-handling procedures. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed. Work collaboratively with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and other departments to support material availability. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous material handling, warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or related experience preferred but not required. Previous experience in the medical-device industry preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy required. Ability to follow written procedures and established processes. Effective verbal and written communication skills. General proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience using NetSuite or another ERP/inventory-management system preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Physical Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Employees in this position must be able to: Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Regularly reach, bend, push, pull, and handle materials. Operate a pallet jack and move materials on skids or crates. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Perform physical activities associated with inventory, material handling, shipping, and receiving.
