Position Responsibilities:
Logistics. Logistics interns support the movement, storage, coordination, and delivery of materials and aerospace products across the manufacturing system. Interns may work with transportation, warehousing, material flow, shipping/receiving, inventory movement, logistics planning, performance metrics, and process improvement while coordinating with operations and supply chain teams.
Potential internship assignments may include:
Analyze and improve material flow, warehousing, and transportation processes Support logistics planning, scheduling, and execution Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and process improvements Coordinate material movement across manufacturing, suppliers, carriers, and internal customers These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS. Employer will not sponsor applications for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher) Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations Majoring in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, Business Analytics, or other related fields The ability to relocate and work onsite
