•4pm to 2:30pm There is a one-dollar differential for 2nd shift. 1st Shift Shift Differential 2nd Shift General Labor $ 20.50 $ 1.00 $ 21.50 ICQA / Problem Solve $21.00 $ 1.00 $ 22.00 MHE Driver $ 22.00 $ 1.00 $ 23.00 Lead $ 23.00 $ 1.00 $ 24.00 Job Description Position Summary The Warehouse Problem Solver is responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving operational and inventory-related issues that impact warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, customer service, and order fulfillment. This role serves as a key point of support for warehouse operations by performing detailed research, root cause analysis, inventory investigations, and process troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency and inventory accuracy. The Problem Solver works cross-functionally with Operations, Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, and Quality teams to quickly resolve exceptions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve inventory, order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and system related issues.

Analyze operational defects and identify root causes of recurring problems.

Research inventory discrepancies and transaction history using warehouse management systems.

Conduct inventory validations, audits, and location investigations as needed.

Support the resolution of customer order exceptions and inventory variances.

Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve operational challenges quickly and accurately.

Monitor exception queues and prioritize issue resolution based on business impact.

Perform detailed data analysis and operational deep dives.

Process inventory adjustments and document investigation findings.

Escalate unresolved issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Support process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and increasing operational efficiency.

Train associates on proper processes and procedures to prevent recurring issues.

Assist leadership with reporting and performance metrics related to operational defects.

Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, when required.

Maintain compliance with all company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities; however, the employee may assist in training and supporting associates regarding operational procedures and issue resolution processes.

Understanding of how inventory defects and process failures occur.

Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to review data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.

Basic to intermediate computer skills, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous inventory management experience.

Experience in warehouse support functions such as inventory control, quality assurance, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment.

Experience conducting investigations and process troubleshooting.

Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement principles.

Prior experience serving as a Problem Solver, Inventory Control Associate, or similar operational support role.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

One to two years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or operational support experience preferred.

Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
