Job Description

Job Summary:
Supply Chain Analysts improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection, analysis, and process improvements. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for ordering and maintaining an acceptable level of MRO / Supply items. Design, implement, and monitor a supply item inventory system. Train all personnel that consume supply items on how to scan and record what is taken from inventory. Monitor MRO / Supply item usage and determine minimum inventory levels. Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts. Perform annual price negotiations for all MRO / Supply items, utilizing consumption history. Identify and implement improvement ideas in shipping and receiving departments. Monitor, Analyze, and rate supplier quality, timing, and pricing annually. Report on supplier performance to management as required. Seek out diversity / minority owned suppliers and retain vendor certification. Assess and onboard potential new vendors enforcing compliance and quality standards. Manage all services and contracts as needed including lawn care, snow plowing, lawn irrigation, janitorial services etc. Implement and ensure full utilization of the Plex purchase requisition process.
Education and Experience:

Strong communications and business writing skills. Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent Mathematic and analytical skills Proven knowledge of inventory management This role is accountable for all aspects of department performance including safety & environmental, quality, reliability, production, and productivity.
