As a member of the Supply Chain team, the Materials Coordinator will report to the Materials Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating all activies associated with the Materials Department within a designated area on the production line. Position Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Requirements 1. Coordinate all materials functions within a desginated cell/area on the production floor. Work with cell team including materials, manufacturing engineering, production and QA. 2. Responsible for maintaining accuracy of inventory within a designated area and accuracy of reject requirements. 3. Provide excellent customer service to internal customers. 4. Responsible for mainting parts and inventory for Engineering Change Orders (ECN) and Engineering Approved Deviation (EAD) to released jobs. 5. Drive the reduction of inventory adjustments. 6. Monitor measure and meet all material measurements. 7. Monitor and coordinate material from staging area (bowling alley) to point of use (POU) locations by requirement date. 8. Ensure material coordination in the following key areas: responsible for communication to other plants with all shipping requirements and errors, monitor and reduce obsolete to zero, ensure gateways, monitor and reduce past due demands to Zero, reduce negatives to zero, review, use and distribute daily dispatch list. 9. Monitor and reduce negatives to zero, monitor line entry schedule and part status prior to and during the build process 10. Ensure you monitor material in

(material with no default locator) within 24 hours. 11. Ensure the MRP, and MRB process is being followed by your team. 12. Work with cell team to monitor and maintain the accuracy of Live bus records. 13. Perform cell audits to ensure inventory accuracy. 14. There is a responsibility for solving problems with respect to the following: Uncontrollable items, cross training, maintaining Sub- Inventories, maintain inter - organizational communication while following proper e-mail etiquette. 15. Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, work instructions, 5P's and promote continuous improvement within the department. Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures and processes.
Benefits Per Union Contract:
$30.93 an hour
