Job Description
Established apparel company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Allocation Coordinator to support sales order fulfillment and warehouse inventory management. This role is responsible for allocating customer orders, creating warehouse pick tickets, coordinating value-added services, and working closely with sales, production, and third-party logistics providers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities, analyze inventory data, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Sales Order Allocation Review system-generated allocation reports to identify orders that meet established criteria, including inventory availability, credit approval, ship dates, and 3PL service-level agreements. Determine which orders are ready for fulfillment and generate pick tickets for third-party warehouses. Coordinate value-added services (VAS) required for allocated orders. Partner with sales and production teams to resolve inventory or order-allocation issues. Help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule. Inventory and Warehouse Management Review daily inventory and customer returns reports. Process sales-related VAS work order requests. Review and process inventory transfer requests. Communicate with 3PL warehouse partners regarding daily operational needs. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and fulfillment concerns. Maintain accurate records and support efficient inventory movement across warehouse locations. Qualifications 3-5 years experience in Allocation / Routing / Inventory experience in Apparel Industry or wholesale distribution Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience using Power BI. Knowledge of Simparel or BlueCherry is a plus.
