Insulated Wire Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance wire and RF/microwave cable, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Inspector / Inventory Control employee for our Bayport, NY facility.

Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials and components for damage, quantity, dimensions, and specification compliance Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and certifications Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials Receive and issue materials accurately in the inventory system Label, organize, and maintain raw materials and finished goods Perform regular cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies Manage and coordinate quarterly and annual physical inventory counts Reconcile inventory-count results and ensure adjustments are properly documented Maintain material traceability, lot numbers, and inspection records Prepare and issue materials for production work orders Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Shipping Help maintain a clean, organized, and accurate stockroom

Qualifications:

Previous experience in receiving inspection, inventory control, manufacturing, or quality inspection preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer and data-entry skills Ability to read purchase orders, specifications, and measuring instruments Experience using calipers, micrometers, or similar inspection tools is helpful Ability to lift and move materials safely Must be dependable and able to work independently Experience managing physical inventory counts is preferred Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-certified manufacturing environment is a plus

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
