Objectives of the Role AgriCapture is seeking a detail-oriented Water Replenishment Analyst to support the growth of our water-stewardship business. This is an analyst-level position, with a strong emphasis on proposal preparation, basin research, and identifying new replenishment opportunities that align with buyer needs. You will work closely with the commercial and technical teams to translate basin-level water data, project designs, and buyer requirements into clear, compelling proposals. You will also help build the pipeline by researching where corporate water targets and AgriCapture's project capabilities intersect. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with strong analytical and writing skills, an interest in water resources and environmental markets, and the drive to learn quickly in a startup environment. Key Responsibilities Proposal Preparation Prepare tailored water replenishment proposals for corporate buyers, including project descriptions, basin context, estimated water benefits, implementation approach, and pricing inputs Compile and synthesize regional data on hydrology, water stress, agricultural water use, and local stakeholders. Coordinate with technical, MRV, and commercial team members to gather inputs, track proposal deadlines, and ensure accuracy and consistency across submissions Opportunity Identification & Basin Research Research corporate water stewardship commitments, replenishment targets, and priority basins to identify buyers whose goals align with AgriCapture's project geographies Screen and evaluate potential project basins for fit with AgriCapture's approach, including rice-growing area, water stress, data availability, and implementation partner presence Maintain an organized database of prospective basins, buyers, and opportunities to inform pipeline prioritization Sales Support & Operations Support the commercial team in responding to buyer RFPs, data requests, and due diligence questions related to water projects Assist with CRM updates, pipeline tracking, and internal reporting on proposal status and outcomes Track developments in corporate water stewardship, replenishment accounting frameworks, and water-related disclosure standards. Required Qualifications Strong research, writing, and data analysis skills, with the ability to turn technical information into clear written material Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Qualifications Coursework, internship, or research experience in water resources, agriculture, sustainability, or environmental markets Familiarity with corporate water stewardship frameworks such as Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting (VWBA) and the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Standard, Benefits Medical premiums covered by both the employee and employer HDHP and HSA plans available Coverage for Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Competitive Pay Flexible PTO and paid holidays Parental leave 401(k) with company match Please email resume to global@agricapture.com
